Pruitt to Stay in Fla. Senate
It won't be Senate President-Designate Ken Pruitt, R-Port St. Lucie, replacing Foley. Pruitt's formal statement: “My thoughts are with Congressman Foley and his family during this difficult time – this is a tragic and sad situation on many levels. I join our community in thanking him for his years of dedicated public service. “While it is an honor to be rumored as a potential candidate for the Congressional seat, I remain completely committed to serving my constituents in the Florida Senate.
