Davis Ads Hit Airwaves Tuesday

Jim Davis has launched two new TV ads, paid for by the Florida Democratic Party. View "FCAT" here. And "Property Taxes" here.

The 15-second spots will be shown in Miami, Palm Beach, Tampa, Orlando, Jacksonville, Tallahassee and Panama City. They also feature Davis' running mate, Daryl Jones.

In a call with reporters, Davis denied he was too late to overcome Charlie Crist's advantage. "I think the folks who are going to decide this election are just starting to pay attention." He also played down the suggestion the short ads were a reflection of the party's fund raising challenges, saying they are "simple and direct" because the differences with Crist are simple and direct.
