Rod Smith: Crist was 'nowhere' on insurance

Rod Smith is adding to the criticism of Charlie Crist saying this week that he would have vetoed the property insurance bill passed by lawmakers this spring.

"I am amazed that Charlie Crist says he is now against the terrible insurance plan passed entirely with Republican votes,” Smith said in a statement released by the Jim Davis campaign. “This is just like when Crist said he was with us on Schiavo. It's easy to say after the fact - but he was nowhere to be found when he could, and should, have made a difference.”
