Cross-over endorsements in HD 52

In what may be Florida's most competitive swing state House District, 52 now represented by Frank Farkas, both Democrat Bill Heller and Republican Angelo Cappelli are touting support from the opposing party. Cappelli has a new mailer including glowing comments from Pinellas teacher Sally Baynard, a "lifelong registered Democrat" whose father Bob Pfeiffer was "Mr. Green Devil at St. Pete High."

Heller's mailing includes endorsements from some prominent Pinellas Republicans: County Commissioners Ronnie Duncan and Susan Latvala, Pinellas Park Mayor Bill Mischler, and St Pete council members John Bryan and Leslie Curran.
