Crist appoints two to Board of Ed
Gov. Charlie Crist just announced two appointments to the Board of Education:
-- T. Willard Fair, 68, of Miami, president of Urban League of Greater Miami, Inc. He was reappointed for a term beginning Jan. 24, 2007 and ending Dec. 31, 2010.
-- Dr. Akshay “A.K.” Desai, 48, of St. Petersburg, president of Universal Healthcare. He replaces Phil Handy for a term beginning Jan. 24, 2007 and ending Dec. 31, 2010.
