Greco won't run for Tampa mayor again

JANUARY 17, 2007

Former Tampa Mayor Dick Greco, 73,
announced today he will not run for mayor this year. Greco was Tampa's
50th and 56th mayor, having first won in 1967 and again in 1995.

Greco said he loves politics but is enjoying life in the private
sector and the ability to take two-week vacations. "I'm doing what's
best for me and my family," he said.
