McCain's anti-Castro friends

U.S. Senator John McCain’s presidential campaign today announced that famous prisoners of conscience Armando Valladares and Roberto Martin-Perez will support the Arizona Senator as he seeks the presidency.

Armando Valladares was imprisoned for 22 years by Fidel Castro for his outspoken opposition to communism. Roberto Martin-Perez is currently the spokesperson for the Association of Cuban Political Prisoners based in Miami, Florida.  He was imprisoned for 28 years in Cuba for opposing the dictatorial Castro regime and immigrated to Miami following his release.
