A unanimous Senate: Go Gators!

APRIL 13, 2007

The U.S. Senate has taken a bold stand in favor of the Florida Gators. The Senate unanimously approved S. Res. 148, "commending the University of Florida men's basketball team for winning the 2007 National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I Basketball Championship."

The bill, sponsored in a bipartisan spirit by Sens. Bill Nelson and Mel Martinez, passed unanimously.
