The Official 2007 Charlie Crist Tax Tour

With nine days left in the legislative session, and the House and Senate just beginning to negotiate terms of a property tax package, Gov. Charlie Crist and Lt. Gov. Jeff Kottkamp are hitting the road.

They will hold a series of public forums in the next few days "to provide an opportunity for the citizens of Florida to voice their concerns about rising property taxes."

Tuesday's forums will be at 5:30 p.m. at Edison Community College's Student Activities Building in Fort Myers, and 6:30 p.m. at the Edward M. Eissey Campus Theater at Palm Beach Community College. An additional two forums are planned Wednesday at Valencia Community College in Orlando and at Pensacola Junior College.
