Does he walk on water, too?
It's not every day that you see a headline that says "Christ visits Jerusalem" -- in the Jerusalem Post, no less. But there it was on Wednesday morning, on Page 5 of the popular Israel daily, with the misspelling that continues to bedevil Gov. Charlie Crist.
The "Christ" misspelling actually occurred twice, in a headline under a photo of Crist and Israeli Foreign Minister Tzipi Livni (now wouldn't you think THAT would be a harder name to spell?) and again in the text under the photo.
Crist took it in stride. When U.S. Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen of Miami told the governor, "you should love that," Crist said: "What are you gonna do?" Another wag in the Florida delegation, upon seeing the headline, said of Crist: "No wonder his poll numbers are so high."
