Taking aim at Corcoran

Rockie Pennington's Committee to Protect Florida was not done with Richard Corcoran. A radio ad playing off an old hunting incident was ready to air. Listen here.

According to a 1998 report in the Citrus County Chronicle, Corcoran was fined $800 for shooting a sea gull and other non-game birds. At the time, he said the information was disclosed by his opponent in the House race, Nancy Argenziano.

"It's pathetic," said Corcoran, adding that he had never been hunting before.
