'Why we stood up to Florida'

Donna Brazile, manager of Al Gore's 2000 campaign and a member of the DNC's rules and bylaws committee, writes in the Washington Post today that Florida's early primary "represented a unilateral move that would completely disrupt the system on which everyone had agreed."

But she also says the current system is not "rational" and needs to be reformed. More here.
