Trouble in Paradise

Russell Buzz hears that John Russell of Dade City, a Democrat who lost to Congresswoman Ginny Brown Waite last year, was causing a bit of a raucous at the state convention and was escorted off the Disney property. If you've got 30 minutes or so, the video is here.

Mark Bubriski, spokesman for the Florida Democratic Party, said that Russell had tried to take over another vendor's table, which that vendor had paid for. The vendor had approached Party staff to ask them to help her out. Russell wasn't sent as a delegate to the convention, Bubriski said.  "Our staff told him you can't do that, and he then became belligerent," Bubriski said.

Later, Disney staff became involved and banned Russell for life from all Disney properties, Bubriski confirmed.
