Crist names David Foy as policy director

Gov. Charlie Crist today announced David Foy will serve as his policy director. Foy had been chief of staff for the state Office of Insurance Regulation. “I am confident that David’s commitment to the state and his experience
will allow him to immediately begin contributing in a meaningful way,"
Crist said in a statement.

Foy will replace Chanta Combs, who joined the administration in January and served as policy director on the Crist campaign. It is the latest departure from the Crist administration. Last week, Crist "counselor" Chris Kise left to return to private law practice.
