Kise leaves Crist office, moves to energy post

Kise
Gov. Charlie Crist today announced Christopher Kise is leaving the office but will serve as "Special Advisor on Energy and Climate Change." Kise most recently served as counselor to the Governor.

"Chris has been a driving force in our administration, and I am pleased he will continue to serve in this new capacity,” said Crist said in a statement. “Chris’ stewardship on some of the most important issues to the people of our state – auto and property insurance, energy and global climate change – will have great impact on our state for years to come."

Kise served more than three years under then Attorney General Crist as Florida’s solicitor general, the state’s top litigator. Kise is a graduate of the University of Miami and Florida State University College of Law. During the election, Kise helped Crist with debate preparation by playing opponent Jim Davis.
