Seminoles join fight against Rubio

The Seminole Tribe of Florida filed a motion today to join as a respondent to House Speaker Marco Rubio's suit challenging the gaming compact worked out with Gov. Charlie Crist.

The Tribe argues that it is currently on an "unfair playing field" because slot machines have been allowed in Broward County and that is now has a right to challenge Rubio's effort. "The Tribe has a direct and substantial stake in the outcome of this proceeding."
