Sen. Geller is OK after surgery

S031
Sen. Steve Geller, D-Cooper City, successfully came out of surgery to remove a growth from his kidney. The mass was discovered in mid-summer, but Senator Geller opted to delay removal due to the spate of special legislative sessions.

He's expected to resume duties after a "brief recuperation" at his home in Cooper City, a press release said. No further treatment is expected.
