Confused by ballot, some vote 'no' on 1

Jason Diviki, 36, walked into his precinct and quickly voted for Ron Paul. But he struggled over Amendment 1, the property tax cut. "It was confusing," he said of the ballot summary, "so I voted no. My taxes aren't outrageous anyway."

Dorothy Cox, 70, reacted similarly. "It was very confusing," she said, loading her granddaughter into the back seat. "On one end, it seemed like it would help, but if you kept reading it seemed like it wouldn't."
