Giuliani says, vote for MY change

FORT MYERS -- At his largest, most- press-watched event of his Florida bus tour, Rudy Giuliani borrowed from the "change vote" debate on the Democratic and Republican sides to woo voters in Ft. Myers. Be careful to look whether change is good or bad, he told a crowd of more than 1,000 at the Shell Point retirement community.

Instead, he touted his proposal for tax cuts and single-page tax return (a plan that Fred Thompson supporters say they recognize) . "In other words, we would put more 'change' in your pockets," he told the crowd.

After barely taking questions on Sunday, the town hall meeting here was his second-straight event taking questions. He even got an introduction by Lt. Gov. Jeff Kottkamp, though the campaign said it was because Kottkamp hails from the area, not a confirmed endorsement.
