Secretary of State Kurt Browning says voting is steady and smooth for the most part, but there are these tales from the trail: At least one Orange County voter was turned away from the polls after a pollworker said the Democratic primary was in March and there are reports of long lines at Century Village, a large retirement community in Broward, despite an unusually short ballot.

But overall, Browning said: "I am confident that our election is good today. It's being run well by the county supervisors."

MSNBC's Kerry Sanders reports a few cases of voters in Miami showing up and finding their registrations were different than they thought. Browning said some secondhand reports of voting irregularities were checked out and dismissed as untrue. "A lot of this stuff is becoming like urban legend," Browning said.
