House will investigate Rep. Kreegel

4348
House Rules Chairman David Rivera has concluded that an election-related complaint against Rep. Paige Kreegel, R-Punta Gorda, is sufficient enough to warrant an investigation.

In a letter
this week to House Speaker Marco Rubio, Rivera requests a probable cause panel or special investigator to look into the allegation that Kreegel used his legislative aide to undermine a political opponent. Kreegel faces a challenge in November.

Robert Anderson, the Lehigh Acres man who filed the complaint with the House, has also filed complaints against Kreegel with the Florida Elections Commission snd the Ethics Commission.
