Florida Democrats for McCain? Not publicly!
UPDATE: McCain campaign points out they also have signed up former Tampa Mayor Dick Greco as another prominent Dem McCain supporter.
Over the weekend, Sen. John McCain's presidential campaign released a list of "prominent Democrats and Independents" supporting McCain.
The two from Florida include: Blogger on HillaryClinton.com Renee Slater and Former Sheriff of Highlands County Howard Godwin (Florida).
Buzz has spent the better half of two days trying to figure out who Blogger Renee Slater is, we'll keep you updated if we hear from her. But Buzz contacted Howard Godwin who was none-to-pleased to find out his name had been splattered all over the Internet, thanks to a McCain press release.
"Who I vote for is no one's business, it's a personal decision. I'm not in public office anymore," said Godwin, who reluctantly agreed to confirm he is a Democrat and is supporting McCain.
