Rep. Kriseman loses home in fire
A fire early this morning destroyed the St. Petersburg home of Democratic state Rep. Rick Kriseman.
Neighbors say the Krisemans weren't home at the time of the fire, but firefighters had to treat the two family Labradors for smoke inhalation.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, but it engulfed the 3,567-square-foot home that Kriseman and his wife bought in 1994. Story here.
