Frances Rice of the NBRA tells us they've put up seven of these babies locally: two in Manatee, one in Sarasota, Charlotte, Highlands, Hillsborough (Busch Blvd, east of I-275), and this one in Pinellas off US 19 south of Ulmerton.

The billboards are part of a campaign by the National Black Republican Association in Florida and South Carolina, and has provoked fierce debate across the South. Click here to read today's Associated Press story.
