Crist to make second Supreme pick
Gov. Charlie Crist will announce his second selection to the Florida Supreme Court on Wednesday morning at the Governor's Mansion.
Buzz hears there's a good chance it's First DCA Judge Ricky Polston.
Gov. Charlie Crist interviewed three finalists two weeks ago, which include Polston, 59, 1st DCA Judge Peter D . Webster, 59, Tallahassee and 4th Circuit Judge Waddell A. Wallace, 55. Webster and Wallace have been finalists before.
Last month, Crist appointed Charles Canady to the Florida Supreme Court, and he and his general counsel received dozens upon dozens of emails urging him to pick Canady, according to records Buzz requested. This go-round, Crist received about a dozen emails, and all except one asked him to appoint Judge Poston.
