Palin riffs on economy with Crist and "first dude"

Joined by Florida Gov. Charlie Crist and her husband Todd -- "Alaska's first dude" -- Sarah Palin took the stage at 9:15 a.m. in New Port Richey.

She has started with a riff on stopping "corruption and greed" and helping people keep their owns.

"What has Barack O'bama's commitment to reform ever shown you? He only served about 300 days in the Senate before he became a candidate," Palin said.

Palin also is hitting Obama on taxes, calling his tax-cut plans are "phoney."

"So many small businesses are going to be slammed by his taxes," Palin said, who evoked Obama's "spread the wealth" quote again. "Our opponent's plan is for more bigger government."

Update: Fire Chief Alex Onishenko said the crowd was 5,500. Joe Biden attracted 3,200 on Monday to the same park.
