On the menu: Florida farm-raised caviar

Caviar_4
Mote Aquaculture Park in Sarasota County wants you to know that it provided the caviar for Charlie Crist and Carole Rome's wedding reception at the Vinoy tonight.

According to a press release, "The governor's wedding planners chose the Mote caviar because it was farm-raised in Florida."

Said Mote president Dr. Kumar Mahadevan: “It’s truly an honor for Mote Caviar to be served at Gov. Crist’s wedding. As we work to further the aquaculture industry, we truly appreciate the fact that our governor is supporting Florida’s farmers.”

Mote Aquaculture Park is a research facility that develops fish production techniques that show unlimited water isn't necessary for large-scale fish farming.
