Hasner gets 'secret ballot' passed. But, shhhh, it's a secret

The House spent considerable time this afternoon debating Rep. Adam Hasner's secret ballot bill, passing it on party lines.

Hasner did release this statement: “It's no secret that our state and our nation face unprecedented economic challenges. Protecting workers’ rights is essential if we want to create and protect jobs and get Florida’s economy moving again. To that end, the Florida House took a significant step today toward helping our economy by voting to provide Floridians with the opportunity to enshrine their right to vote by a secret ballot in the Florida Constitution.
