New TV ad pressures House to kill tax increases

APRIL 22, 2009

Grover Norquist's Americans For Tax Reform is running two TV commercials in Tallahassee, urging voters to pressure the House to reject the Senate's cigarette and other tax increases. "They played word games, calling the hikes user fees and surcharges," a man intones. "But a tax is a tax is a tax."

The ads (see second one here) are scheduled to begin tomorrow.
