Greer rules out congressional bid
State GOP chairman Jim Greer announced this morning he will finish out his term as chairman rather than run against U.S. Rep. Suzanne Kosmas in the Orlando area. "I am grateful to those who encouraged me to seek this office,'' Greer said in a statement. "While I certainly appreciate the honor of consideration, I feel at this point in time I can better serve the Republican Party of Florida by completing my second term as chairman."
