Will McBride looking at AG race

Jim Greer may be trying to avoid divisive primaries, but the GOP race for attorney general could get Willmcbride plenty crowded: Galvano, Grady, LeMieux, Kottkamp and - the latest name - Orlando attorney and '06 US Senate candidate Will McBride. McBride, who came in second to Katherine Harris with 30 percent of the primary vote, has been calling donors and strategists about getting in.

One could certainly make a case for him, especially in a crowded field. Like Rep. Tom Grady, McBride has at least the potential to self-finance, as his father-in-law is Stu Epperson of the Christian radio chain Salem Communications. His name I.D. is probably better than some or most of the other contenders, who could split the Tallahassee-insider set, as well as the trial lawyer support.

But how weird would that be - Sink and McBride running at the same time?
