Winner of the week
Holly Benson. Buzz hears that Crist's Agency for Health Care Administration secretary and former Pensacola state Rep. Benson may run for attorney general. She has a lot of Republicans thrilled at the prospect of a ticket that includes something other than white males.
Loser of the week
U.S. Rep. Ginny Brown-Waite. The Brooksville Republican shrugged off as no biggie the revelations that she was buying up stock in financial institutions such as Citigroup and Bank of America while serving on the House Financial Services Committee and just as Congress was preparing to bail them out. Here's a tip, Ginny: Don't bet on companies directly overseen by your committees.
