Crist adds Rep. Jennifer Carroll and former Jax Mayor John Delaney to Senate interview list
Gov. Charlie Crist just announced he will interview two more candidates for the vacant U.S. Senate seat: State Rep. Jennifer Carroll, R-Jacksonville, and University of North Florida president John Delaney, formerly mayor of Jacksonville.
The interviews are Wednesday at Cecil Field Airport in Jacksonville.
The governor spoke with Roberto "Bobby" Martinez today in Miami and also has former Secretary of State Jim Smith on the short list, which could grow by a few more names by week's end.
