Grayson: GOP health care plan is 'Die Quickly'

Rep. Alan Grayson, D-Orlando, served up a blistering attack this evening on his GOP counterparts, asserting their plan for health care reform can be summed up easily. 1. Don't get sick. 2. If you do get sick, die quickly.
"That's right," he barked, "the Republicans want you to die quickly if you get sick." Republicans on the floor at the time demanded he apologize. Grayson did not.

"Alan Grayson reached a new low tonight," said Andy Sere, spokesman for the National Republican Congressional Committee. "We'd ask him to apologize -- and he should, immediately -- but we've watched him long enough to know that he's not capable of shame."
