Ex-Sen. John Grant digs Marco Rubio

Introducing Marco Rubio to the North Tampa Rotary club a few minutues ago former state Sen. John Grant, R-Tampa, stressed that Rotary is a non-partisan organizations so he would be making no endorsement. Then he explained why he hopes Rubio is Florida's next U.S. Senator, how he has a check for Rubio in his pocket,and how he saw Crist's leadership skills serving alongside him in the legislature.

"We used to say the greatest threat to our security was not sombody lobbying a grenade from the gallery but getting between Charlie and a TV camera,'' Grant said.
