Kristy Campbell joins Bill McCollum campaign

We neglected to post this yesterday, and one of Kristy Campbell's many fans is nagging us to put this on the blog: Kristy Campbell, a veteran Jeb Bush aide  and former Mitt Romney flak in Florida, is the new communications director for Bill McCollum's gubernatorial campaign. She'll be working under campaign manager Matt Williams and senior adviser Shannon Gravitte.

"Kristy’s background and experience will be a tremendous asset as we educate voters on Bill McCollum’s experience, leadership and his vision for the future of our state,'' McCollum said of Campbell, 28, who most recently worked at Bush's Foundation  for Excellence in Education and the Foundation for  Florida’s Future.
