The Crist-Rubio polling trend

Whether or not you believe the Rasmussen poll showing Charlie Crist tied with Marco Rubio, the governor's inevitability argument is gone. (We're hearing about another poll showing Rubio 9 points down.) The closing poll numbers come despite Crist's extensive radio ads touting his conservative stances and a fair amount of criticism and tough scrutiny lately on Rubio's record.
"Polls at this point in the race are as fluid as Marco Rubio's policy positions on everything from cap and trade to tax increases," said Crist campaign spokeswoman Andrea Saul.
