LeMieux back at the White House

Less than a week after he visited the White House for a bill signing, U.S. Sen. George LeMieux is headed back tomorrow -- for a discussion on energy policy that will presumably include oil drilling.

A White House notification listed the Florida Republican as part of a bipartisan group of senators who will visit behind closed doors with President Obama and top administration officials.

LeMieux has said he is in favor of offshore oil drilling if it is done correctly, a position at odds with Democratic Sen. Bill Nelson and others in Florida. A list of expected attendees is below:

Secretary of Energy Steven Chu
Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar
Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack
EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson
Senator Max Baucus (D-MT)
Senator Jeff Bingaman (D-NM)
Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA)
Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH)
Senator Maria Cantwell (D-WA)
Senator Susan Collins (R-ME)
Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC)
Senator Judd Gregg (R-NH)
Senator John Kerry (D-MA)
Senator George LeMieux (R-FL)
Senator Joe Lieberman (I-CT)
Senator Richard Lugar (R-IN)
Senator Lisa Murkowski (R-AK)
Senator Jay Rockefeller (D-WV)
