Winner and loser of the week in Fla politics

Cretul Winner of the week: Larry Cretul. A charisma king he's not, but the Republican House speaker from Ocala drew overwhelmingly positive reviews for a self-effacing,  realist speech opening the legislative session. "I am one of the few elected officials in the Capitol not running for election this year — the only thing I'm running for this year is the porch," he said. Runner up: Eric Jotkoff. The Florida Democratic party communications director's old attacks on lavish European junkets and secret party credit card have become fodder in the Republican U.S. Senate primary. Atwater1

Loser of the week: Jeff Atwater. The Republican Senate president and chief financial officer candidate says he wants his GOP credit card statements released. But when pressed last week, he sounded like a stammering disembler claiming he's helpless to make that happen, even though he can do it himself.
