Rick Scott opposes Bill McCollum's tax rate proposal

Caught up with Republican gubernatorial frontrunner Rick Scott today and asked him about Bill McCollum's proposal to freeze local millage rates for two years.

"I don't think you can do that,'' he said, arguing that while he opposes tax increases local communities know what's best without mandates from Tallahassee or Washington. "It should be a local decision."

Likewise, when asked about casino gambling, Scott said "I think the local community should decide."
