A day after Kendrick Meek announces his first TV ad, an attack spot on Democratic rival Jeff Greene, Greene today is out with two new ones of his own.

A second, called "too corrupt," focuses on an earmark Meek secured for a failed Miami development with ties to his mother.
In both cases, Greene takes some liberties. For instance it says he "lobbied for big tobacco against children's health care," a reference to a meeting Meek got a cigar maker fighting a big new tax. Other Florida lawmakers opposed the tax as well but, like Meek, voted for the bill. The Greene campaign points to an interview where Meek said expanding health care was vital but also added, "we knew (the bill) was going to be vetoed" by President Bush.
