After Election Night, three important dates to keep in mind
The results will soon be in, but they won't be official for two more weeks.
Elections in Florida come with a series of post-election timetables and deadlines, and here are three important ones:
* 5 p.m., Thursday, March 17: Deadline for people who cast a provisional ballot to provide proof of eligibility to county supervisor of elections.
* Noon, Sunday, March 27: Deadline for county canvassing boards to certify totals in all 67 counties to the Department of State in Tallahassee.
* 9 a.m. Tuesday, March 29: Three-member Elections Canvassing Commission meets to certify the returns for the primary (this will likely take place in the Cabinet meeting room of the Capitol just before a scheduled Cabinet meeting).
Will Gov. Rick Scott have endorsed a Republican candidate by then?
