Alex Sink raises $1.1-million for House race
From the Alex Sink campaign:
Alex Sink announced that her campaign has raised over $1.1 million and has over $1 million cash on hand for the special election in Florida’s 13th congressional district.
“I’m incredibly grateful for the outpouring of grassroots support our campaign has received – this is another sign that our message of bringing Republicans and Democrats together to break the gridlock in Washington and get Congress focused on solving problems is resonating with Pinellas residents,” said Alex Sink. “From helping businesses grow jobs, to protecting seniors and veterans, to stopping the Flood Insurance rate spike that is hurting homeowners, we cannot afford for the dysfunction in Washington to stand in the way of tackling critical challenges, and I look forward to continuing our conversation with Pinellas families about bringing the bipartisan, results oriented values I practiced as Florida’s Chief Financial Officer and as a business leader back to Congress.”
The campaign filed its financial report with the Federal Elections Commission for the first reporting period of the special election today.
