As Murphy campaigns, Grayson lays low on primary day
U.S. Rep. Patrick Murphy spent the morning of the primary election at polling places in Miami-Dade and Broward counties.
He stopped by libraries and community centers, appearing with U.S. Rep. Gwen Graham and former Gov. Bob Graham in Miami Lakes and campaigning on his endorsement from President Barack Obama in Miami Gardens. Tonight, he'll be at the DoubleTree Hotel in Palm Beach Gardens for a watch party.
But his chief opponent in the Democratic primary for the U.S. Senate has largely been under the radar.
U.S. Rep. Alan Grayson had no major public events scheduled Tuesday. In the last week, his public appearances have largely faded.
According to his campaign, Grayson will spend the election night watching results in Kissimmee with his wife, Dena Grayson, a candidate for the congressional seat Alan Grayson vacated to run for Senate.
