Campaign cash: $538K for Jolly, $1.3 mill for Sink
Republican candidate David Jolly has predicted he will be outspent in the race to win Pinellas County's open congressional seat, and his prediction seems to be coming true. A campaign report filed Thursday indicates he has raised $538,571 in the most recent reporting period. Meanwhile, Democratic candidate Alex Sink's campaign said she has raised $1.3 million during the same period.
All this is overshadowed by the outside groups that have poured more than $6 million into campaign ads outside of the candidates control.
