Capitol Buzz: Things to watch today in Tallahassee

Friday is Day 4 of the legislative session. It's a quiet day at the Capitol.

The House went home Thursday after sending three priority bills to Gov. Rick Scott dealing with water policy and learning disabilities.

The Senate's floor session Friday is scheduled from 10 a.m. to noon, and nine bills are scheduled for final passage.

They include a new task force to review Florida's overseas and military voting procedures; expanding the family members eligible for a Gold Star specialty license plate, honoring service members killed in the line of duty; and erasing the term "absentee ballot" from the statute books and replacing it with "vote by mail ballot."
