Carson and Rubio run closest to Clinton in general election showdown, poll shows
Ben Carson and Marco Rubio have the best shot among Republicans of challenging Hillary Clinton, a new poll shows. But Clinton outpaces them with a wide advantage among Hispanic voters.
In the MSNBC/Telemundo/Marist poll, Clinton has just a one percentage point lead over Carson, 48 percent to 47 percent. She’s got a three point advantage over Rubio, 48 to 45. She beats Carson among Hispanics by 26 points, and Rubio by 19.
Clinton beats Donald Trump in an overall matchup by 11 points (42 percent advantage with Hispanics). She’s up four points on Jeb Bush and seven on Ted Cruz.
