Charter schools reignite funding debate
The Senate Education Committee meets at 3:30 p.m. on Monday to discuss a dozen key charter-school proposals.
Some of the bills would give more state money to charter schools. Others seek to clamp down on administrative salaries, vendor contracts and student transfers.
Though no formal vote will be taken Monday, senators should indicate where they stand on the funding debate, among other controversial issues.
