Polling average shows Clinton ahead



Hillary Clinton currently has a 4 percentage point lead in Florida, according to the Real Clear Politics average, putting her in better position than Barack Obama at the same time in 2008 and 2012.

In 2012, with 14 days to go, Mitt Romney was up 1.8 percentage points at this time. Obama would win the state by 0.9 percent, or about 74,000 votes.

In 2008, Obama was ahead by 2.0 percentage points. He beat John McCain by 2.8 percentage points.
