CNN Florida poll: Donald Trump 47%, Hillary Clinton 44%
CNN is out with a new Florida poll showing Donald Trump edging ahead of Hillary Clinton 47 percent to 44 percent among likely voters, within the margin of error. Libertarian nominee Gary Johnson drew 6 percent. Looking just at registered voters, the CNN/ORC poll has Trump with 45 percent and Clinton with 44 percent.
Clinton led Trump by 8 points among women and Trump led by 14 among men. He led among white voters 58 percent to 30 percent and trailed her among college graduates 49 percent to 41 percent. He led among independent voters 46 percent to 37 percent.
The poll also shows Republican U.S. Sen. Marco Rubio blowing out Democratic challenger Patrick Murpjy, 54 percent to 43 percent among likely voters. Among registered voters, Rubio led 51 percent to 45 percent.
